The ARB differential lock can be adapted later. The big advantage of this switchable block is that the differential works like an open one in road traffic. - no unnecessary tire wear, no misplaced block insertion.
in offroad if the situation requires it, the lock is activated by simply pressing a button, within 1/10 of a second it is locked at 100%.
Installation is possible without too much effort, only the differential basket is replaced. The compressor required for the system provides the pressure needed to lock the differential with the push of a button.
When lit, an integrated ring piston is operated
in the differential, which ensures that the differential is locked. When it is turned off again, compressed air escapes from the solenoid valve and small high-performance springs release the retaining ring. Hence the differential acts as a normal "open" differential.
